Where do the suicide bombers get the idea of virgins waiting for them if they kill the infidels - is this in the koran or something else
and what do peace loving muslims believe happens to those suicide bombers in the afterlife

Sucide bombings have nothing to do with Islam which means Peace in letter and spirit, please dont get mixed up with fanatic's thought, killing oneself or suicide is strictly prohibited in Islam and this act is totally against teachings of Islam.Some fanatics have painted this horrible thought that Islam allows this but,as a matter of fact,a suicide bomber and his trainers and perparators of such henious crimes to humanity have no place in Islam, they are condemned by Muslims as much as people with other beliefs.Islam clearly says "Killing of an innocent is murder of Humanity" and "Hell awaits such fanatics" !

Well, in the Quran is it mentioned that Muslims with great faith in God, and went with what the Quran said and Sunna go to heaven and as their final retreat in Heaven men will get Hor Al Ayn: Beautiful virgins .. ( women have their own thing as well )
Us Muslims believe and our Shaikhs as well that those suicide bombers go to hell, because people who commit suicide for any reason go to hell. We believe that those extremist are extremely wrong and the majority of us are against their actions and declarations..

Taking your question as it is and no offense, I'm Muslim, they believe that they are heroes.
When they kill themselves they go directly to hell. I a peace loving Muslim believe this because it's simple logic. A person kills himself it only creates greater problems, problems in his greediness didn't even consider, I mean what about his family, his wife, his kids, what are they to do after he killed himself? Personally to honest with you no one in this world is an infidel. That's like cutting someone down and the Islam I know of does not teach that.

This is not in the Quran. This comes from a Hadith which i don't believe in authentic. Some Hadiths were collected centuries after prophets passed away and don't mean anything.

Jesus Christ The Son of God is PEACE and if one does not follow and know Him they have no peace. The Bible says that they will cry peace, peace,....but there will be no peace...(.UNTIL one accepts Jesus as The Son of God and He returns) The only true peace one can have while living in this flesh vessel is having Jesus in their hearts.

well let me start of by saying that they live in a harsh envirnment with little food and shelter. and no its not tought that if u kill urself u will get to bang virgins. the koran states it is a sin to kill oneself. those ppl caused bombings because they were promised to get paid by sadam and benloadin and those to dudes shtie out gold as rich as they are. bascily the bombers jus wanted to feed their familys

its deviated belief that very few Muslims have.suicide is a major sin in Islam which will get you to hell.but some how those extremist think that they are going to heaven.which i don't know why.
