It has to do with being comfortable in your own home. Did you never let one rip when you were living alone? Well - your husband just doesn't want to change that now that he's sharing a place with you. Choose you battles. If this is the worst thing about him - you've probably married a great guy.

It's not just the guys! My g/f does it too. It's a comfort thing. Would you rather have them just blow up? Gas has to go somewhere and it just so happens it doesn't discriminate by race, religion or sex.

well they are trying to be polite. But once you are married then you are there for the big ones.
BTW Girls do this too. You guys would eat the tires off a car to keep from farting in a group or with your BF, but once you are married you are much more willing to let fly (esp. after having kids).

Same reason why, with a girlfriend you hardly catch her without makeup, after marriage, you see her at her worst a lot more often. The courtship is over, time for real life to start settling in.

Thats cuz when yall get married, they're way more comfortable to do anything and everything around you. Thats normal. LOL just leave the room when it happens.

Face it -- all guys do that. Guys want to seem a little cultured while dating, and after we are married, we "relax." (pun intended). I've also known many women who do the same... Just do it back to him and see how he reacts!
