I guarantee he feels sorry for you, if you don't believe.

It's not an argument, Jim. It's a question. And if you think about it, you may come to understand how atheists view your "arguments".

Not simply for his belief. I guess I would be a little jealous. But that belief implies so many other things...maybe he's made fun of all the time; is someone still putting out milk and cookies at his house?; what if he has his own children and Santa quits coming?

Captain Atheism, (on a previous topic) , evolution has,is and will always BE a theory(NOT a fact as so many are misled to believe). An unproven theory at that. Fossils prove nothing , carbon dating has been proven very UNreliable . Dino tracks have been found in the same layer of bedrock as human footprints ( in Texas, among other places) Evolutionists turn their collective backs to his because it proves they are promoting a lie. They continue to look for a 'missing' link, which may as well be the whole chain.

believing in Santa is just that, a belief. it is not a religion. so no i would not feel sorry for him just as i dont feel sorry for the little kids that "believe" in him. i also wouldn't feel sorry for him as i would the atheists that "believe" there isn't a God. i dont feel sorry for anyone that believes what they feel is fact, and even if i did, how is that my place to tell them what they believe in is nonsense? who am i? what authority do i have? this is why we have freedom of speech and expression and why we live in a democratic nation.

I've reformed my conception of Santa, but I've never stopped believing.

You would feel sorry for such a man.

But religion is not in the same category.

You are using a straw man argument.

St. Nicholas was a real person, but as time went on, people went on to make Him out to be a magical person.

lol he would feel sorry for me, wouldn't he. :)

I don't know though, I would not feel as sorry for him as I would for someone who believes in Christianity. It's a whole other thing. These people think there going to heaven w/ there families and they believe this imaginary figure loves them. That's sad. No one gets that serious about Santa, he just brings you presents.

I meant to say not feel as sorry
