Mainly it's because older guys seem to be more mature than younger guys. It's nothing personal but if you really look into it there are some older guys that are even less mature than the younger guys. It's all about personal preference I suppose. Hope this helps, good luck!

Age is just a number, it's all about maturity. If you got rejected for your age then the girl is probably looking for something an older man can offer. If i go 5 years older than my current age I'm likely to find a man with a secure job, good pay, ready to settle down and get married and have kids. If i go 5 years younger I'm getting into men who just or are about to graduate college and are still in "party mode". It's all in what she's looking for out of the relationship and what you have to offer. It's not the age hon, it's all life stage and maturity level.

Not all girls prefer older boys. My boyfriend is 5 years younger than me. I am 25, he is 20. He was 17 when we started going out together, I was 22. I have had 5 relationships and out of those, only ONE was older than me. It lasted 3 weeks!!! I get on better with men that are younger than me becuase I look and act a lot younger than I really am. Age is just a number. If you get on really well with someone and theres chemistry there, go for it I say. You will find someone if they be older than you, younger or the same age. If you like someone, don't be afraid to tell them because it might be they like you. No harm in trying. If you get rejected, it wasn't meant to be. Don't worry about it. You will find someone if you stop looking!!!

Because Girls in their mind Feel that a Older Guy is more Mature physically and mentally and that makes them feel more comftorable being with them, Of Course It's not a fair judgement because their are some younger guys who are way more mature than older guys and who are better established than some of these guys too (Job, Car, Money,Physique) So hey if she or any other woman rejected you because you were younger than them then hey look at it as that's their loss but keep trying because their's some girls who are in to the younger guys too Everybody's got their own taste.

Older guys spend more money on young girls, that's why young girls go out with older guys. I don't know why you got rejected. What do you look like ??

I have never dated someone as old or older than me. They are too set in their ways and have too many issues from previous relationships. I don't have the time or energy for that BS. I have always preferred younger guys. In fact, I recently dated someone 10 years younger than me. Younger guys are more fun, have more energy, stamina and as I said before fewer hangups. Sometimes the only problem with younger guys is that they still may live at home, or don't make that much money. Some women are scared of that type of situation. I have my own place and make enough money, I don't need a man for that. I need a man for companionship and I have found that younger is better. Keep your chin up and you will find someone, or wait long enough and you will be the older guy!

girls mature at a faster level than guys - so to be with a person on an equal maturity level some girls go for the elder man
Others tend to lean toward a safe father figure with the more mature - sensible "safe" man - many older men are quite settled and comfortable - have their own house, secure job that kinda thing - which some girls are attracted to.
For others it could be a sexual thing.
Every girl could have an ulterior motive for being with an older guy really. hope that helped some XX

older guys like 30 or 40, but not 60. Cause I had a grandfather looking guys hit on me, and I'm in my prime, I'm 27, anyway, I've only had oen guy older then me hit on me who is that old. But, I wouldn't have dated him. Most people go after the older guys because they want stability in their young lives, but will they be happy. OH, I think young guys are so cute when they are trying to figure stuff out, but I would totally hook up with Bruce Willis.

Girls mature quicker than guys and most of the time that is why we like to go for older guys.
Most older men are mature and know how to treat a girl properly, the experience helps as well.
Don't worry babe, not all girls go for older guys and I'm sure your day will come when all the girls want you.

I was six years older than a girl I asked out once and she rejected me because of the age difference (and other things) so its not exactly a hard and fast rule but in general girls 'mature' faster than guys throughout the teenage period.
