Especially the first time can be hard to figure out what to do without embarrassing you or give you that feel.
Prepare an activity for the date you want to take her to and than ask het if she is intrested to come on a date with you. Don't be all nervous and don't make it a big deal, start of with doing something you both like doing. Just go for a drink or something.

Try to organize a group activity with a group that includes her. In 8th grade, the focus should be on group activities.
Women are much more interesting when they have finished school and gotten an education. And so are men.

You have her phone number (I take it she gave it to you?) so maybe telephone her and just have a chat. You don't ring people solely to ask them out. When you ring your mates you just have a yarn etc and MAYBE you end up arranging to go out somewhere together, but not necessarily. Try the same approach with this girl. If nothing else, it may intrigue her sufficiently that she will make the running and ask YOU out somewhere with her ! Give it a burl and good luck.

well don't ask her out to The movies since your only in 8th grade and you'll probably end up having an adult tag along if you go to the movies. Just casually ask her if she wants to go out to eat with you. Don't act nervous, and go somewhere near bye. Tell her you'll pay.
