I meant wash them in a laundermat...

put them in the clothes washer but place them in a pillow case to save them damaging the drum

I've never had trouble washing them in our washer -- and drying them in our dryer. They bang around a little but it doesn't hurt anything.

either place ...when you put them in the dryer their gonna be noisy put a blanket in with to muffle it down and be careful they will kick the dryer door open! ha ha
