Depends on how fast you wish to develop lung or throat cancer. Sorry, but seriously, it's bad from the first puff down to the last, filter or no filter. However, the closer you get to the filter, the more tar and other chemicals you're getting. Filters don't really filter out much anyway. They were designed by tobbaco companies in response to growing public awareness of the dangers of tar and nicotine. People thought it gave them at least some protection from the harmful chemicals. It has since been shown that it doesn't.

Not any worse than smoking the rest of the cigarette. Better to just quit ... I quit after smoking for 10 years and I feel a lot better.
