Walmarts located near the bigger cities usually carry decent mattress sets starting at around $450.00 for a full size set. That's probably about the cheapest you can find a new full size bed for. Also, they offer futons and platform beds (that come with a mattress) and they start at around $125 - $300. Otherwise I would suggest finding a clean used bed through the classifieds section of your local newspaper. There are also on-line classifieds available for most areas. I'm not sure where you are in NY so you may have to search for your exact area. For example, here are a couple websites that might help you (search for furniture):

For that budget I would look in the classified ads of your local paper. Check out some local auctions. Yard sales, flea Markets, ask family or friends.

Ok there are a few ways to go about this. First off look at thrift stores if you want, second off if you want to rent one try rentacenter.com they arent that expensive a week there, or else try Walmart or Meijers. Good luck I hope you find one
