Im Native American, i was raised christian, but as i grew older and wiser it disgusts me that the spiritual religion called shamanism is lost because of christian intolerance. Im thinking about moving to Canada because i really am at the end of my tether because of the BS christians have done in past present and perhaps even future. In a way parents force thier children to be christian, they raise them in that religion and teach them no alternatives, its sad really.

I consider myself part Native American. My grandmother was 1/2 Cherokee on my fathers side. All though I find the Native American way of life appealing...back to nature...as a Christian, I cannot agree with spiritistic part of the worship.

As far as religion, everyone has the choice to worship how they want. If many on a reservation what to be Christian, then they should have the right to build a house of worship in their neighborhood.

There is a lot of hypocrisy in religion. However, Jesus died for all mankind including the Native Americans. The bibles hope is that all those who died that are asleep in the grave will have a resurrection, whether they believed in Jehovah God and his son or not. Those will have the hope of living forever on a paradise earth. "The meek will inherit the earth and live forever upon it" Psalms 37: 10 & 11 I consider the Native Americans to be some of the meekest that have ever lived on the earth. Isaiah 55 shows how the animals will be at peace with one another and with man. I think it is a wonderful hope for all those that have died and those now living.

Churches cannot be built on reservations without endorsement and support of Native Americans living there. The same with casinos, etc.

a million. Muslims do not visit "church" and they don't seem progression mosques on ALL state run campuses, as you declare. 2. Many campuses do have non secular centers in case you're Christian and in case you are not. I doubt any student on any campus has problem searching a close by church, yet pupils of alternative religions maximum probable have hardship searching an section to worship. 3. Muslims are literally not frequently happening terrorists, individuals of Al-Qaeda are. believe it or not, those extremists are a minority interior the religion. 4. seventy 8% of human beings are Christians. 5. authorities officials are meant to symbolize all the individuals, not in simple terms Christians. as well, at the same time as public universities do receive authorities money, authorities officials do not ascertain how the money is spent. college officials do.

I am not a native american, but I feel your pain. I believe in allah and I promised HIM that I will never let the peoples lands that I walk upon memories be lost. I do not believe in the christian theologies at all. I will give you an interesting fact. The suicide rate in america is higher than the homocide rate. FACT. But the sad part about that statistic is, the majority of those who do commit suicide are native americans. I hate the fact that most can not see how evil the christian religion has spread accross the globe. From the mass muder genocide of pure indigenous peoples of the earth that are natives. To build a nation built upon greed, lust, money, and murder. How they enslaved africans and used them for free labor. And still, we recieve no reparations. Even though natives have, what is money compared to the eradication of an entire culture and race. A place that you used to be able to call home. From christian groups such as neo nazis and the KKK. To what the British have almost accomplished in Africa. I myself love native americans because they were true inhabitants of this planet. And they never forget thier own. Take care love and though I am not native american, I can feel your pain and frustration. PEACE!

I'm not a native, but i think that is a little bit insulting. i mean if you want to be christian go ahead you have to respect the other people around you. do you want to practice the native american beliefs? i think it would be cool to get together some other people who want to do that to and start a group.

I can see how that would be insulting to the people on the reservation, where the christian conquerers forced the native americans to live. Why did they call the indians, "heathens", when they were already well established when whitey got there?
Yes, it would be like a slap in the face.

It is not about you and what you want.
The churches are there because your native family wants them there.
They are only your reservations because the grace of God gave them to you. Otherwise you natives wouldn't even exist anymore. White man would've slaughtered you all.

Is anyone forcing people to go to those churches? If not, you have nothing to grip about. God loves the Native Americans too, and wants them to make it to heaven by His Son, Jesus.
