I just bought an old 36" tube TV, and I noticed that whenver the camera pans, the image slightly breaks up into horizontal lines.
It's not bad, just annoying.

Is there a name for this?

Is this an issue with all tube TVs of this size?

Is there a setting I can change to fix this?

every unit when reach their lenght or duration of service will normally display a symptom due to long period of viewing hours. parts such as the capacitors mostly electrolytic changes their value. now causing the trouble you are now experiencing on your TV. there is a coupling capacitor on the video out section that causes that. mostly its around 10uf - 44uf/ 160v - 450v. or at the plyback, you can see two adjustment points ( screen and focus ). you can adjust the screen a little to attain an improvement .but remember you must have the proper knowledge on electronics thus this section is on a high voltage and can give you a shock.good luck.

Most probably the Horizontal Linearity section is not correct if the object width varies while paning

do not have a c section in simple terms to have your tubes tied. Having that finished does not require surgical procedure anymore. They make a small hollow on your abdomen button and do it arthroscopicly. communicate it over consisting of your health practitioner . yet maximum situations they could do it after shipping. good success
