Like sodomy laws, and blue laws, firing people at work for not being christian, putting prayer in public schools, putting in God we trust on money, forcing children to say the pledge of allegiance with God in it, refusing to give morning after pills to a woman, making abortion illegal, looking for Pagan covens so they can burn them down.

Because those Christians are not very patriotic. They put their religion ahead of their country.
You forgot to mention Roy Moore, the "10 Commandments Judge" who was removed from office for betraying the Constitution.

Of course they are going to put religion before their country. I would much sooner die for my G-D then my for my country. And why do you say just Christians? We aren't the only ones in politics. Since when is there something about firing people for not being Christian? Oh and in case you haven't noticed they took prayer OUT of public schools (that WAS NOT the Christians.) Just so you know AMERICA was BUILT on the FOUNDATIONS OF CHRISTIANITY by our FOREFATHERS! Today there is all this talk of America being a free country of choice. So people CHOOSE to live here. If you are going to live here you don't have to be a Christian but you have to RESPECT our foundation of it. Children ARE NOT FORCED to say the pledge at school. ABORTION doesn't have to just do with Christianity. Do you believe MURDER is OKAY? b/c that is EXACTLY what ABORTION IS. NO ONE CAN ARGUE THAT IT ISN'T MURDER. Yes the Bible says not to have an abortion but even if you aren't a Christian do you think it should be legal to kill a BABY? Don't bash Christians when you don't even understand. And as for the burining of pagan covens or whatever. Don't judge ALL Christians for that. Some people do do that. yes. and those are the people that give Christianity a bad name. Christianity is about LOVE. Although not all Christians are great examples of this. Remember we are only human. we make mistakes just like the next person. the only difference is we have faith. we believe in forgiveness and that after we die there is something GREATER. What religion are you anyways? Christians did not pass laws that undermine the constitution. The Bible says that we will be judged and hated and persecuted by others but Christians learn to live with that because almost everyday we come across someone like you. But we know that this time. right now. this time on earth today. it won't matter in the future. this keyboard i'm typing on. this computer. this house. these clothes i'm wearing won't matter after i die. all that will matter is that i have faith and i believe in the ONE TRUE ALMIGHTY G-D! and i know every religion says their G-d is the true one but do they FEEL their G-d? Even if we can't see or touch or hear Him. We FEEL Him everyday. And see the miracles He works in our life. YOU MY FRIEND ARE BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED. No matter what religion you are I hope to see you in heaven someday.

Under the law you cannot fire someone for not being a Christian. Prayer is not allowed in public schools. You cannot force children to say the pledge of allegiance. Abortion is legal. Sodomy laws are barely enforced since police are not allowed in your bedroom. You cannot burn a pagan coven either. What are you talking about?

Most of these were later challenged in court by people that believe we were "invented by other humans" and there is "no GOD". This thinking is rather strange to me. This world is Very Complex. A slight tilt or nudge toward or away from the sun and we do not exist. In fact NO LIFE would exist here at all, yet you believe that life is just a "roll of the dice". Morning after pills are still the murder of someone's child and grandchild. GOD was placed on our coinage before the court challenges were ever there. Sodomy Laws still need to be in place. I hope that You don't commit sodomy... do you? There are things that are Normal and things that are Strange taking place all around us. I believe that GOD set HIS LAWS in place for our protection and well-being. I imagine that you have very little knowledge of what HE has even said in the BIBLE. I hope that you will take some time and find a group so that you can become familiar with the BIBLE. HE would expect you to do so. Have a great week.

Some of your things are not quite true. Communism, that Atheist Scourage you love so much and want to force upon us, was the imputus for "under God" in the flurry of the McCarthy hearing era and the Eisenhower/Nixon Reds Under the Beds worries...
Sodomy laws were found almost everywhere in the world. Name a country that allowed back-dooring in the year 1900, how about the year 1000.
80% of the Country is Christian, I'm still amazed they couldn't muster enough votes to get the Constitution to declare it one!
So obviously NOT everyone is Religious and they did get enough votes to ban fornication, sodomy and other things, including prohibition -- and remember Jesus was a wine drinker and expected everyone to drink the 24 ounces of wine each year at Passover. So that isn't religious.
Muslims want to know why we don't allow 9 year old girls to get married and them and Mormons want to know why we don't allow men to have multiple wives.
Maybe those laws will change, eh...

>>>Like sodomy laws,>>>
Such laws do not undermine the Constitution. Sodomy laws are local laws, and the Constitution delegates any authority not within its bounds to state and local legislatures.
Show me where, in the Constitution, that it says that people have an inalienable right to commit sodomy.
Never mind. It's not there. Such things are best decided from state to state, and locality to locality.
>>>and blue laws,>>>
Read above. The same applies here.
>>>firing people at work for not being christian,>>>
Huh? What laws did Christians push that say that this is okay?
You're entitled to your own opinions -- but not your own facts.
>>>putting prayer in public schools,>>>
Christians don't advocate laws requiring prayer in schools -- but we do want laws that ALLOW such prayer for kids who wish to do it.
Again, you're entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts.
>>>putting in God we trust on money,>>>
If you don't like that, then don't use our money! Go to some country where God is banned -- like North Korea or somewhere.
>>>forcing children to say the pledge of allegiance with God in it,>>>
Again, you're not entitled to your own facts. No child anywhere in America is forced to say the Pledge.
>>>refusing to give morning after pills to a woman,>>>
I'm a Catholic. I'm not a pharmacist, but if I were, then why should I be forced to participate in something that I consider to be sinful?
It sounds like you want to deny religious people their rights. Who's undermining the Constitution now? You are!
Besides, the Constitution says absolutely nothing about morning-after pills. So why are you calling it a "right"?
If these pills were a "right," then nobody would have to pay for them -- because we never have to pay for anything that's a right.
But unless I'm wrong, people have to pay for such pills. That's another reason why they're not a "right."
>>>making abortion illegal,>>>
Nothing in the Constitutions says "women have an inalienable right to murder their unborn babies in their wombs."
Abortion is yet another case of liberal secularists reading "rights" into the Constitution that just are not there.
Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who's as liberal as they come, admits that Roe v Wade is bad constitutional law.
It's going to be overturned someday. You read it here first.
>>>looking for Pagan covens so they can burn them down.>>>
Okay, now you're going off the deep end. Get back to me when you've got a better grasp on reality. God bless you.

They believe that everyone must follow their religion. They cannot accept the separation of church and state. They insist that the founding fathers were Christian and would want such laws. They cannot see past their own beliefs. They really don't care about those with other beleifs.

The reason why is because they believe is right to do it. But let me tell you, These laws were made by man not by the Lord. God's laws is the 10 commandments and that's what he wants us to do. So dont let these man-made laws confuse you on how Christianity is really like.

I want to address your question without prejudice, as I am a christian, and believe in the separation of church and state. Let me tell you why.I believe that JESUS kept the 7th day sabbath holy. I believe HE created it when HE made the Heavens and the Earth. I also believe HE raised up this great nation to protect HIS belief system and allow people to discover and embrace it. But GOD has an enemy and his method of religion is control. what u r referring to is the devil's work, not GOD's.. JESUS came to set us free from the bondage of sin.sin is the bondage made in this world by satan. So I want freedom of religion for all, including satanists and pagans. That is GOD'S will. for humankind to choose whom they will serve. I am a SABBATH keeper, and with that comes difficulty in careers, and in economics. But I choose to believe this way because it is the American's right given by GOD. so u see, I am one of the few that rely on the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. and one day it will be no more. and my fellow believers and I will be blamed for the trouble we will be in.. what will u do then?
