I have heard of the great Indian corruption (which is also prevalent in most other countries around the world) and know that it can be stopped with freedom as the people are empowered in equality.
Freedom brought to the level of unconditional equality will bring to your country rewards far beyond anything that my country (USA) has ever dreamed possible.
My answer is freedom, but not the kind that any person has seen either seen or spoken about before. It is a kind of freedom similar to the one which has brought my country (USA) so much wealth and strength, one which allows no power to terrorism, tyranny, or factional politics (each differing only by their mechanisms), and the kind which will make your country the world's next superpower, the envy of the world.
This freedom holds only one premise: that all people are created equally and it holds this principle as the central and sole purpose of government. Let government do nothing except it reflect the will of the people in equality, neither violating nor advancing any person's interests more or less than the next person. This freedom of equality recognizes that justice (and government) must be blind, lest an inequality naturally develop among the people and their agents (chiefly, corporations and factions). It requires that all violations of that inequality be repaired by those criminals who resorted to the force and deception inherent in such violations.
It will free our planet from corruption, factional/mob rule (tyranny), and terrorism for three reasons: 1) The people will be catalyzed to great productive, synergistic action, 2) The success of their great productivity (wealth) will inspire the entire world to emulate their systems of freedom, and 3) Fear of terrorism will quickly dissolve as the people feel the power of their own synergy and commitment to the freedom which holds no tolerance for tyranny. Yes, war is required in many instances against agents of inequality, deception, and terror, but it is possibly the least effective solution because of a very high cost-benefit ratio. Nevertheless, war is oftentimes required as the last resort because of our unwillingness to prosecute a comprehensive, strategic, and innovative attack on its roots: inequality. Only true freedom can effectively inspire the people against extremist hatred which enlists men to harm and enslave others.
In conclusion, the best way that India (or any other nation) can free herself from corruption is to: 1) renounce her advancement of special tribal reservations and appointments to government and the university (to name a few), 2) legislate only that which receives the will of the entire people without prejudice for or against any person or minority, 3) frequently and publicly solicit their wisdom and expertise for the benefit of the people, 4) empower justice only to restore equality without exception for any person, 5) renounce all laws which regulate foreign and domestic corporations differently, and 6) conduct no business with any friend of tyranny, terrorism, or their allies.

Corruption can be controlled in india but there is no absolute measure to stop it. The main cause of corruption in our country is the corrupt political sphere. We need to amend the political system in India. Well, it becomes a bit too far fetched if i dream of amending the political system. But practically also, control of corruption is possible. For this we first need good education for each and every citizen of the nation. The citizens need to realise that the bribe they are taking or giving is being extracted from their own pockets and they are the one who can check it. Basically we need to involve the youth who may discourage these practices and bring out a generation of citizens which have nationalism in their blood. And the youth can only be involved in this ,if it is well educated. So if you dream of eradicating corruption , go for mass education.
There will hardly be a person who will like corruption because each and every individual of the country is getting negatively affected in one or the other way. So there is no question of hating or liking it, rather it is a kind of disease which needs a cure.

It is possible to stop corruption in India. For that we need to change our political system to a more result oriented one run with a more firm hand. The present system allows someone to be elected from a constituency only and ruling the whole nation. So sometimes he gets direct vote from hardly 20% of the total electorate in his contituency from a multi-cornered contest where hardly a little more than 50% of the electorate turn out to actually vote. So this leaves plenty of room for manupulation. This leads to corruption at a highest level. We need the presidential form of government like in the U.S. so that whole of the country get to vote for the president or whoever is to run the country. At least we get someone who is directly voted by the people across the country. Next we need to remove the present system of civil administration with the IAS cadres. People who are more at home with the working of a department by beginning at the grassroot level, should be promoted on the pure basis of merit needs to handle the administration, and not by an IAS officer who comes to sit in the top without understanding how things get done from the grass root level up. The working of the government machinery should be made more transparent. The change may be traumatic and hard but we need a proper shake-up.
We hate corruption because it is a slow poison which eats up the whole system from the inside to make it weak from the inside to ruin it slowly. That is why we find many eminent scolars migrating away from this country. But we all pray and we are confident that INDIA CAN CHANGE FOR THE BETTER....

Do u think you can stop corruption??? Might be you are saying a bold "yes" but the fact is we all know deep down that we cant, that is the problem. Let us say together we can and work to get it. Start with yourself, how?? let me tell you. Stop bribing the traffic police when you are caught, stop paying extra money to get you plan passed, stop giving gifts to teachers to be in the good books, stop cheating, stop your family members from doing all the above and at the end try to live.... if u succeed then hats off for you and if you cant then dont ask silly questions. We are the ones who create corruption and then blame politicians, police, judiciary system and society for it.

First of all I would like to appreciate the questionaire for such questions. The answer of this question is the future of INDIA.
The common people of India are the main reason for corruption. If they avoid corruption and complain corrupt people to vigilance or the respective branch we could avoid corruption.
The film "Indian" tells us how corruption creates a disaster. We should avoid and abolish corruption.
In India most of the people below poverty line are the victims of corruption and they hate corruption. But some of the High class and the politicians like corruption and are corrupted.

There is a correlation between poverty and irregular distribution of wealth and corruption. In other words, curruption is mostly found in countries with extreme poverty as well as in those countries where there is wide disparity in income. In the Scandivavian countries, in Switzerland, Canada, Japan, Singapore and other similar countries with high standard of living nd high per capita income, that word would be rarely heard. By contrast, in many developing countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America, corruption is a household word.
In some cultures, demanding and accepting "gifts" or "dash" for carrying out even menial tasks for which one is duly paid, is an ethos that can only disappear completely when we say good-bye to poverty. But when will this ever be?

Yes it is possible to stop coruption but for that we will have to start from the grass-root level. We the general public are the grass-roots. We ourselves have corrupted our system. If we are actually against corruption, then why do we pay those who ask for bribes and not muster courage to stand against them? Why do we keep offering our allegiances to the devil of corruption? Once upon a time, one of our fore-fathers must have either offered bride or accepted to pay the amount asked as bribe. And hence the 'custom' started and continues till now. The people who's shops or houses have been razed under the drive against encroachment cry out against the biases of the authorities and against their corrupt nature. But nobody thought that it was their hands that had offered the bribes so that they could build those illegal extensions. Had these people not desired to get their work done through unfair means, the present situation, the present state of corruption won't have existed at all. So to change the society and to rid it of corrution, we should change ourselves. Oppose corruption at all levels and of all forms. And yes oppose when others try to bribe somebody in your presence, be it your parents giving 'donations' for your admission or for your job. If you actually deserve it then nobody can stop you and you or your parents will not need to pay such hefty money as bribe for securing your future. And yes as far as liking or disliking corruption is concerned, people like me who believe in getting things done on their own merit, see corruption as a hindrance in their progress and in the progress of the country. I HATE CORRUPTION.

orruption has become a way of living for some people in India. The word corruption became famous because of the politicians and govermnet officials and also because of people that work in government offices. First, earn your right to sue those kind of people.

first of all i would like to say nothing is impossible. it is surely a difficult job to think about to do but easy to do just Change yourself you need not to teach this to Others give 100% to your part. this will act as motivation far others. i am sure that the young generation of India has born with different though and things are to change quickly. if you ask me to suggest the way to stop corruption in India i would say that there should be higher educational qualification for politician. the way to chose and train civil police should change it should be of military background with regular men tel and physical checkup. time period should be fixed for solving any case.
