Lots of cars are exclusively built in Mexico for US export... such as the PT Cruiser, New Beetle, Jetta and many more.

So they should all meet US requirements. But I'd run a Carfax report to make sure it was first sold in the US or Canada.

There are quite a few cars made in Mexico and shipped through out North America. Sad ain't it.

i do not believe cars made in mexico have the same pollution standards are cars made here and will not pass emmission inspection here. but i would check with motor vechicle to be sure and i suggest calling the albany office and ask to speak to their legal advisors office
