Anyone who pays attention to politics will realize that the Democrats forced Bush into a timeline to end all events in Iraq. Bush is sending more troops because there is no more time left.

The Democrats cannot afford a victory in Iraq.
If we win in Iraq - then they will be exposed as having placed political advantage over the national interests.

Under the Democratic plan (oh wait, sorry there isn't any) So plainly "Cut and Run" just means short term political gain for Democrats to get in office and then have push the problem off, then in the future we have to send the next generation (because the power vacuum will be ignored for it doesn't play well in the polls, ala 1990's)

hmmm...i notice you aren't wearing a uniform...brave words from someone who obviously CAN'T do the job...I just got back from hell over there. Whether I was under fire on a particular day or not, when I saw the smiles of children as we pulled up, I was happy because I knew that we were doing something positive over there. The general public WANTS us over there and they love us for what we are doing. Over 50,000 sorties a day are run in that country, but the only thing you ever hear about is " X amount of US soldiers died today, blah, blah". Why? Because the media is mostly run by the damn Democrats, that's why. You don't hear about medical missions to small villages where we are treating the sick and infirm....oh no, that would be something positive and the Dems can't have that because they have to paint a horrible picture so they can have control....typical schoolkid crap to me. I've been hit 3 times while in combat, once while holding a small child in my arms to get her out of the line of fire....the insurgents don't care who they kill as long as they can kill an American. They won't hesitate to kill 100 children as long as they can get me in their sights just once.
Since you have no idea what is really going on over there, I will ask you to educate yourself by talking to soldiers who HAVE been there...not just officers, but talk to the lower enlisted troops, the everyday "Joes". We will tell you stories that will scare you, make you laugh, cry, everything...
"Give us the tools and we'll win the war." Winston Churchill said that during WWII...I'm just a soldier, but I'm saying the same thing. The Dems keep taking money from the military and tearing us down. We can't train properly sometimes because of it. Under both Bushes, when we trained using blank ammo, we actually fired a weapon....under Clinton...we ran around saying "bang bang". Now what kind of damn training is that for a combat soldier? I'm supposed to be able to protect my family, your family, someone else's damn family by saying "bang bang"?
Get a goddamn grip on reality...terrorists hate everything about America because we stand for total freedom, democracy, and a higher standard of living. All they want to do is control people. Not my way of life, not yours. The Islamic religion is a peaceful religion to be sure, but the extremists do not believe in those ways...I say hats off to the true Muslims who believe in peace. To the extremists, all I have is a .50 calibre machine gun waiting....and I'll keep it firing in their direction until my last breath. I love my country, I love my President, I love my people and our way of life. I'm sworn to defend it, but also to defend those who cannot defend themselves. Picture yourself getting gang-raped in an alley and I'm walking up on the scene with my rifle....would you want me to walk on by or would you want me to do my job and protect you and your life? Let your soldiers do the job we have to do....please.
