Well how old are you now? Maybe she is noticing that you are way too distracted with this guy and its affecting you. Mothers naturally want to protect thier kids from anything that will hurt them. And boys are a big a part of being a teen and also is learning about love. As long as your school work isnt suffering and you are helping around the house and being respectful then expalin to her that you are all just friends. Quit making such a big deal about this guy and keep your feelings a mystery, that way if he doesnt feel the same EVERYONE wont know about it and you can act like its not a big deal , save some face.
As for the movie thing, just say were all going to a movie , would you like to come with us? Guys like women who know what they want and be striaght about it.

The easiest way to set up a group outting is have everyone together (or most of them) that way you all can get excited and decide together what day and all that. have him there or invite him afterward.
As for mom saying no to boy at party. she thinks you are too young for a adam and eve party. If you disagree approach her on it, but remember she has already set no and you do not want to get into trouble. So talk to her respectfully and without yelling.

You don't say your age. Your mom just wants you to have a fun youth, without all the emotional trauma that comes with romance.
Just enjoy being your age and meeting lots of different people. Discover yourself and set standards. Take your time.
If you feel like taking a break and getting your head clear, read a book called "Reviving Ophelia." The possibilities awaiting young women are huge, if you don't mess it all up with a boy.

Shes a little worried on bf/gf kind of stuff, you know, like in the movies, the boy and the girl runaway and do some bad things, and kiss at night and stuff like that, its just like every mother.

1. Just ask the people you want and him, try doing it while they are all in a group.
2. She might have said no because she is looking out for you OR she might think something might happen between you and this guy.

how oldare you anyway? groupdates are fun, actually. it lets you be natural and have fun because you got friends to joke around and you avoid being tense aroundthe guy you like.
how will you invite him?ask him casually if he wants to go with you and your friends, itdoesnt' sound like a date if you go out with friends, right?(if you're a bit shy about it)
your mom's probably worried because you're too young, why dont' you ask her to drop by the rink to check on you ar ask a sister of yours to chaperone you.if your mom gave you a curfew,be strict with the time,so that you can go out the second time. let your mom know your whereabouts so that she knows that you are not doing anything wrong..alright?
have fun!!!

Mom is conservative (and she's right)..
at 16+ you can invite your friends out for party.. but dont get drunk. Mom also afraid your getting drunk and going too far... (maybe ur mom think that way, bec I think that way)... why not ask you mom , maybe we have the same answer...
