I am new to these dating site I just do it out of curiosity I usually don't do dating sites. For some reason, I keep getting these Russian women emailing me about they are insterested in meeting me but I'm sensing it's a scam to get money out of me I'm not a gullible fool by any means. There's Russian chick who emails me alot she is trying to come to my city but she asked me for $900 for the airplane ticket I am not going to give a stranger that amount of money. I am not to sure about these ofter Russian women I think they are connected with one another to get money from some unsuspecting fool. Okay has anyone has the same experience with American Singles I'm looking for local women not out of towners or foreigners?

They want to come and live in America. They are using you. Do not send any money or even bother talking to them. They only want to get to America.

I've heard other people say that about AS - I suppose due to the fact that American is in the title it attracts more foreign people (men and women both). It is NOT a free site and I no longer am a paying member there (the guys never seem to change there). Just be careful no matter what site you join - there are both good honest people trying to meet someone and others that are just trying to use you for either money or casual sex.

I have also tried several singles sites, and got various responses (including crap like the ones you mention), but I finally tried "eHarmony". WOW! Found the woman I have been searching for my entire life there!! Give it a try, and if you do remember one thing......be HONEST about yourself!! Don't answer the questions the way you think others might like, but the way you really are!! This site will match you with the right person for you, but it may take some time so be patient. I had to wait almost 5 months before getting the right woman for me, but it was most definitely worth the wait!!.. Good luck!!

Wow! Watch out for those. Try a more serious, established site that is not free, where you have to pay membership to see some of the profiles or contact other members.
Sounds like a big scam.. and you're right.. don't ever give any money to people asking for it on the internet.

Watch out for the scammers and block contact with them if you can. There's a lot of that out there unfortunately.

Its a scam, they all are , keep your cash unles you want to go thru a legimate russion site thats sets trips up for you to meet them. Thats what one guy i knew did,it was costly but he did it.
