well any of the sites (including Limewire) that offer music for "FREE" are going to probably have viruses. May I suggest something better than that. Go to your library and borrow the cd's for the songs you want. This is what I do and I have not found a CD they do not have that I wanted yet. Of course if you listen to Xplicit things they prob. will not have that kind of music.

It isnt the Files that have the viruses, well 95% of the time. It is the Host Computer that has a macro and is unawares of it. Get Ubuntu Linux or whatever flavor of Linux you like, get off the EULA that says you do not own what you paid for and get a OS that you own for free.
And that is stopping soon because Microsoft is now Trademarking some of the Linux Kernal. Once it is Trademarked it is owned, once it is owned, it will no longer be free.
Viruses are written to run on the most used OS in the world. Who writes these things, I have no idea. Some are data bots, some are malicious, I know there are some corporations that make a good profit becuase of them, so figure it out.
Go Linux or stop learning and pay as you go.

Limewire, that's not to say the files you d/l that you believe are music won't be virus's, just be careful with what you d/l.
It's fairly safe to say for instance (and this is one that come's up often in Limewire) that the copy of Insertsongnamehere.mp3 isn't actually going to be 1,040 Kb
