Minutes? I Am Not Sure.

The flight time of an ICBM from the US to Singapore is between 27 and 36 minutes, depending on where it was launched from and the specific missile used. Time of flight would be only a matter of minutes for a SLBM, but the sub would need a stand-off distance that would make the time of flight at least 4-5 minutes.

But we like Singapore, so this is really just an academic discussion!

I agree with the "Silly Question of The Day" vote...

Seriously, I had three port-visits to Singapore while in the Navy (1987, 1993 and 1996) and enjoyed the visits thoroughly. It is a wonderfully CLEAN, TOLERANT, and BEAUTIFUL country. We were treated with respect and kindness... and fortunately NONE of our sailors ran afoul of Singapores strict (but reasonable) laws.

So, I reject your question as foolish and asinine.

Singapore would have more allies than Iraq, so you do the math.

Cool question... Why would they do that though... No gain of land or money or business or human resources from bombing a small island...
