Are you people sure this airbridge was disconnecting? As far as I can see, there was no towwing truck.. but I happen to see a catering truck back-up (the blurry one in the back of the plane) and I think the Emirates aircraft WAS going 2 back-up.

Hey BaByb3aR,

This looks more like it is disconnecting. There are several blurs in the picture, indicating that the lens was open for the period of time it took for the airbridge to retract that distance, and there are carts that are traveling leaving a trail too.

Airbridges are self propelled and appears to be moving toward the aircraft. Looking in the lower right corner if you look at the joint of the bridge you'll see where the bridge started and where it finished while the shutter was open. Also there would be a push truck in the bottom centre of the picture if the plane was about to push back from the gate.

I don't think the catering truck was backing up, it looks like it is going to the plane. Anyway, things are blurry because the lens was open for a while. This photograph was taken the same way photographers photograph meteor showers.

I don't think it's possible to say definitively whether it was moving to or from the plane - it all depends on how long the exposure was and at what point in that frame of time the jetway began and stopped moving.

It's obvious that for the majority of the exposure the jetway was pulled away from the plane, but at some point, it was moving. It's sort of deceiving.

Looks like it's moving back away from a plane that is backing up getting ready to go down the run way for take off. What are you doing with this picture at this angle? In the days of terrorism, and terrorists why do you have this picture taken this way?
