I am only 5'3/4" and that is short. My husband is 5'8" which is not tall for a man. He likes short stubby brunettes that look like his mother (Italian, what can I say). There is someone for everyone. There are many more compatibility factors that go into determining whether or not a relationship will last and yes, looks are important but height not to everyone. Now my husband's brother (same parents) does not like Italian girls at all. He likes tall skinny blondes for some reason. If she's a brunette, she and better be anorexic and not Italian. His taste is the total opposite of my husband's, who can't stand blondes.

What is "..very short.." exactly? To answer the question as asked, at least from my point of view, height is NOT a "big thing" as related to a g/f. I myself am not exactly what could be called a tall guy (5'5") but have gone out with women over 6', and had a great time! Not to be cruel, but could it be that YOU have a problem with your height, and it is causing you troubles in other aspects of your life? If you accept the fact of your stature and realize that you wont be getting much taller as you get older, you will find that people start to like you more, because you like yourself more!! It all works down to the self-image thing, like yourself for who you are, and others will like you for who you are as well!!

I feel you. I am short and look young, so people will not really take me seriously like all I have to say is nonsense. But I know a girl at my school that is about 3 feet tall in the 10th grade. She is so very short and has a really nice boyfriend that is normal height. The world works in mysterious ways.

I know this very sweet young woman who is very short about 4.11
And she fould a wonderful guy that is much taller than her.
I like short women and tall women as long as they are not to much over weight.

Short, tall, fat, skinny, etc. Both men and women come in all varieties and are similarly attracted to all varieties. Your height may not bring all the guys around because it is an individual preference, but don't lean on that as being the cause of any issues you may have. Look to yourself first, then look at the environment you are living/working/playing in. Are they compatible to meeting the guys you want to meet?

I am 5'0" ... and quite honestly have never felt 'short'. I often see photos of myself and am very surprised how short I am compared to my husband or who ever I am standing next.

You either carry yourself with a big personality... or you don't.

Being physically short isn't a bad thing. Many men love the 'short' physical attribute because it allows them to feel like they are protective.

Bah..... You just need the right man.

Not a guy but....I am sure your height isn't the problem at all. Most guys I know prefer the woman to be shorter than them anyway. I am sort of tall and I like to wear heels and most guys I've dated don't like it if I tower over them a bit.

So, feel lucky and strap on some heels! Even with them, you probably won't be looking down on a lot of guys.

they are sooo wonderful! And definately no longer overweight or fat. they are good strong boys, seem very healthful and so wonderful! my youthful little ones have all been round an same weight as they have grown, even with the actual incontrovertible truth that their properly has dissimilar with my midsection baby being shorter than the different 2 youthful little ones.
