How can I show my boyfriend that I appreciate him, and that I need him and that I love him and I want to be with him because he is so amazing. Thanks in advance for your help.

Give him some suspense. Tell him that you have something to give him. Make him wait until the weekend, or maybe a certain date that has some significance. (first date, first kiss, anything really)
Take him out to a place he likes to go. (sports bar, restaurant, maybe even the tool store, whatever he likes) You pay. (as long as within reason)
Give him a card - nothing too extravagant, just write down everything you said in your question and tell him what you have for him is your love.
From there, the rest is up to you, but a simple gesture like that would do the trick for me. Anything else would be a bonus.

If you've watched my boys, you'll know what I mean when I say, give him the girl booty call, even if you don't konw what it is, it's basically you call him late at night and ask for that emotional support with a whole night of cuddling and the "Do you know why I love you so much?" stuff. All guys don't like to do it when they're very far in a relationship, or just prefer sex, but I gives you an excuse to hear about all the great things he likes about you...again, then in the morning, when you feel all warm and comfortable in your bed, you two can have a morning sexathon, he'll know how appreciative you are when you do that.

Look at him and smile and tell him how much you love him and appreciate him being in your life. Do special things for him. Tell him you cherish every moment you are with him. Let him know how lucky you are to have him. Sometimes it's the little things that mean alot.

First of all, have you told him you love him? In my experience, men usually respond best to direct statements! You can show him your love by showing an interest in what he is interested in. I don't care for sports much, but I will watch games with him to spend time with my husband. As you know, from your question...actions speak louder than words. Observe him and see what touches his heart.
