I had a Sheltie that would not bark. She was an inside dog and I wanted her to bark when someone came to the door, etc... It's sort of a personality thing with a dog, however, you can teach them.

I know some people will think it weird to teach your dog to bark but it can be done.

When someone would drive up to the house or the door bell would ring I would get down on her level and bark. She gave me a really weird look the first few times but she caught on very quickly. And it did not cause her to bark endlessly...she only barked when someone approached the house or rang the door bell.

I'm sure your pup can, and will, learn to bark too!!!!

She must be extremely calm or good natured.

One of my dogs never barks, but when he does I'm so excited because he's got the most adorable voice!

I baby-sat a couple kittens last week and when they meowed you couldn't hear them that well and they sounded very hoarse. I think they were about..7 months old. Maybe your dog is just developing her bark as the kittens were developing theirs? That doesn't exactly make sense, though!

But, I think you just have a very good natured dog! If there was a time when a dog barked the most, it would probably be when they were puppies. If your pup doesn't bark now, she probably won't bark as much as a grown-up.

When you get to know her better, she might become more loyal and love you more and protect you. She could bark at other people if she thinks they're tryiong to harm you, like my dogs do.

ENJOY YOUR BABY!!!!

All you may do is call Animal administration. yet all they could do is warn them if its by no skill been reported earlier. I actual have a neighbor calling in me continuously. yet she in simple terms does it to be recommend because my canines infrequently bark. and that i'm not in simple terms declaring that to make myself and my canines seem good. yet the position I stay, all I actual ought to do is communicate about all the different canines in my community, there is probable one hundred or extra, and tell them to coach its my canines. yet there is also a gadget that emits ultrasonic sound waves everytime a canines barks. you in effortless words carry it up outdoors. The canines would not like the noise, so it is going to end barking. it truly works on neighbor's canines too. good success.

You should be glad about this. If she starts barking she probably won't stop and it might get quitew annoying. I don't think anything is wrong with her though. If you are really concerened maybe you should take her to the vet.

Whenever someone knocks, make a big deal, shout, run around, and she will start barking.
