Don't know about the Versa, but the Nissan CVT has been out for several years, so they should have the bugs worked out. A friend has a 2003 Murano with the CVT and has had no problems. They said once you get used to the engine staying at the same RPM, instead of going up and down with the shifting of gears, it is a great system. Should help with better fuel mileage, too.

i read is a very good car alot for the money and alot of head room and shoulder room the auto tranrmission cvt is great for gas milage its the laste tech from nissan also offered on the maxima and altima the cvt means countinulous variable transmission which means it shifts very smoothly and really dont have a gear ratio.

Cvt is a great most cars dont have it.
and if the murano and maxima and altima has this type of transmission it means is great!!!
