I have installed an adjustable curtain rod which adjusts to any size between 30" - 48". This results in the rod having a joint in the middle. Everytime I move my curtains the rings tend to get stuck on the joint. Does anyone have a solution for this?

You can either go with bigger rings, rings with rollers, or tape the joint in the rod to make it smoother.

Cover the complete curtain rod with either clear plastic mactac paper or use a shower curtain rod plastic cover. They come in a variety of colors and this solves the problem quickly and for pennies....
