Demonic possession IS angelic possession. Demons are fallen angels. They are the angels that disobeyed God and placed themselves on the side of Satan. But they are still angels.
If you mean is there such a thing as being possessed by "good" angels, the answer is no. Obedient angels do not do that since it is disobedient to God. Angelic possession is inherently bad - it is disobedience. Does that make sense?

The problem with demonic possession is that the demon is usually attempting to corrupt and/or force the will of the person against themselves. By taking over the person's body, so too are they able to control and determine their helplessness, and so affect the helplessness of those around them. A demon possesses a person to demonstrate their power, mostly to themselves, but oftentimes to others.
Because angels do not have such motivations, there is little need to 'possess' such a person. Angels do not need to interfer with a person's sense of self in order to make their presence felt. Of course, one could say that granting 'inspiration' is a way of an angel 'ingratiating' themselves into a person without actually doing so. But even then, the inspiration can be refused or ignored. Demonic possessions cannot be ignored by the person experiencing them.

I think demonic possession is over emphasized (esp back fifty or more years ago) however I do believe that it can happen. As for as angelic possessions, no. Angels don't work that way. Fallen angels (demons) seek to destroy and "be like the Most High" angels are there as messangers and servents. Their will is submission to God and His will. So far I haven't read any account that would give the statement truth that angels do possess. I do think ti is POSSIBLE but not PROBABLE (given the nature of angels)

While theoretically possible, angelic possession is such a rare occurence that no case exists that I can quote.
If it ever happened, it would only be for the best and direst of reasons, so an exorcism would not be a good idea.

Demonic possession is a reality, as the Bible records such instances. It is quite common. there is no such thing as angelic possession, that is being possessed by holy angels. Holy Angels would have no need to possess humans. Holy angels are always in out presence as messengers and protectors, but they never enter our bodies.

They do exist but very rare. As far as a good angel possession no that is what the Holy Spirit is for.

Influence of evil spirits is from outside to the inside, meaning that the influence comes through the flesh. Alcohol, drugs, and unnatural chemical imbalances inherent in a host may contribute to the weakening of the will, resulting in oppression, influence, or possession.
Angel are not allowed to take control of a human. The angelic realm usually "influence" or communicate through the spirit within, not externally. (some rare exceptions have been documented) Thus, the "still, small voice" of the Holy Spirit.

Demonic possession definitely exists. The good Spirit does not take control in a similar way, but empowers us to do good while not overpowering our free will. Anyone can choose to do bad (though it will make the Almighty sad) but if you are under the control of a stronger power, you would need help to get free.

The difference between angels and demons is that demons rebelled against God and angels did not. God gave humanity free will. The angels, who honor God, respect what God has created. The demons respect nothing. Angels would not dare to attempt to usurp human free will.

I asked the same thing, you never see anyone saying, "Help me, I've been possessed by God!". Personally, I wouldn't want any Spirit, Holy Spirit or otherwise in control of my body.
