Well........... you can answer your own question easy enough.
Call her up. See how it goes. Ask her out for coffee and feel it out.
Never know.. she may still have burning embers for you too. Try coffee though.. so it isn't a 'date'.. then you don't have to embarrass yourself if she doesn't still feel the same way. After coffee, you'll have a better idea.
Good Luck

It would be good to know what the ending of a story in any novel is isn't it? Whatever it is, are you prepared for the many surprises awaiting???? That is the fun part ......For me I would wonder what happended and why we never kept in touch...Am not sure if I want to rekindle them depending on what my current situation is right now or what it has been in the past If it was a wounded past I would not want to rekindle especially when that person makes no effort to continue that relationship even though I may have a crush on that person......so it will be que sera sera

do u look like ure avatar? cuz then no one would want u to say hi after 5 years! nope just joking.
What I suggegst you do is send everyone an email and a phone about a high school reuniion!!!! Say there no need to bring anything other that ureself- to the girl of ure crush. Chose a buffet of some sort, and when she's picking food, notice what she chooses and remember it. At the table say " they had oysters- thats like my favorite food!. Then you both have something to talk about and u are happy!!!!!!!!!
Does this help?

if i were single, and an old flame contacted me and the split up was amicable, i would be elated and happy about it. contact her, see what's going on in her life. but u may not get the welcome u expect, because five years have passed, and people do move on, lives change. but i contacted an old flame after my divorce, and it just so happened the timing was right, and he was free, so we went back together, and all was fine in the world again.

Wow!!! Well call her and see how she reacts. You can't expect us gals to know that. But fyi, Reno was my best friend for years during my marriage and everything. He always expressed his feelings for me and last May I decided to express mine. (smile) It really depends on how she felt about you in the past and if you had a bond of some sought.

You won't know if she's interested 'til you contact her...she may have moved on, may be involved with someone herself, or may be happy to hear from you. Drop her a line or call her and go from there. Better to try and deal with the result, than to spend months and years wondering "what if".

just give her a call and be really friendly with her to see how she acts towards you. you can jokingly say that you want her back... just avoid mentioning why you broke up... don't be too serious when going on about this. she might have someone.

saying hi is a start, you can gauge from her response to you if she also feels the same. for all you know, she could be taken already
