Hmmm, I don't know that demons have any real power other than the power that we (humans) can't see them. I'm not denying their existance and I don't really know where this question is coming from. I would imagine that it's coming from those verses in the Bible where it is said that there was "war in heaven" between Micheal the archangel and the Dragon and and his angels that he took with him, oh so long ago.
So, if you're taking this from the Bible and the question comes from the biblical sources - really all you have to do is read a little further.
Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
There you go, the Devil gets thrown out of heaven - never to return and accuse the brethren - that's the good news; the Devil is finally out of heaven and no longer can accuse the brethren day and night, but like a child molester or a bad neighbor that is forced to move away from you theres the bad news for those poor, unsuspecting people that are in the other neighborhoods to where they end up at - and he goes down to earth to unleash his wrath!
That's the thing that leaves man in a terrible state and especially those of the Jewish race who are doing right.
Like the old saying goes - you can't do right and get away with it.
So, like I said before, demons (actually called "devils" in the Bible to give a more clear connotation toward the "evil" in them - you know much more closer to the original meaning of the words) have very little power. In fact, they cowarded at the very sight of Jesus Christ and begged him to torment us not. The main power of these things is that they persuade someone who doesn't have much power to let them come in so that they can give him power but what they don't tell him is that they're coming in to take over. This is what's known as someone who has a "familiar spirit" which is a death penalty in the Old Testament.

Revelation 12:7 SAys that a war broke out in heaven and the devil and his angels were thrown out. Down to this earth where they are causing all kinds of trouble.
Matthew 24:21 Says it is causing a great tribulation, to the point that all flesh could die. Sounds nuclear to me.
But that some will survive on account of the holy ones God will step in and save them. There is a war right now between super powers. It is not man but the angels. Good ones and bad ones.

Definately the Angels, fighting on God's behalf:
Revelation 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

I do think that there is a spiritual war going on all around us and those who follow God will be on the side of His Angels who will at the appointed time have complete victory over the demons, and will share in the victory.

It depends who you ask. Man is NOT the weakest. Man has incredible strength and power if the mind is focused and used in the right way.

No angel would stoop to war. I don't believe in demons. I'm guessing that war needs to be cancelled.

In the end Satan will be chained. Man has a particular involvement in that it participates in prayer.

Man will only be weak so long as people like you hang around telling them they are weak.
