everything that goes up into the air (emmissions, gases) gets returned to the earth with the rain. ever notice how pollution seems better right after a storm? the rain has brought it all down. this affects our rivers and oceans. also, many plants are still polluting the rivers and oceans with waste problems.

Water gets polluted when our sewage lines sometimes and up dumping all this waste,toxins in to the river where everything dies And bacteria begen to multiply.water also gets polluted when an oil spill ocuurs ofshoure many birds and peguins can be kill will this go even seals and fish.

how do we stop it we make sure waste does not go into natural area's maybe they can dry it up and use it for landfills(compost).

Water can become polluted many different ways. Industries dumping contaminants from industrial processes, human activities, oil spills, sewage, landfills leaching chemicals, surface runoff from roads....etc.
