I would question the logic of such a statement...
- We don't have any evidence that we are being watched (by aliens or spirits)
- We would need to presume a universal (literally!) morality exists (it might, but claiming so requires proof) and that these (possible) observers have full knowledge of our inner thoughts/motivations
- We would need to presume that said beings have the means to cause such disasters
- We would presume much (and be pretty egotistical at that) to state that we are SO important to said (possible) observers that they would even bother with us.
- We also need to presume that said observers cannot distinguish selected good from the group (think of the poor, cute, innocent bunnies that died from the tsunami - that our "sins" caused). Do you claim that no honorable (or pious) people die in these disasters or that these observers can't tell the difference?
Given the current evidence (we DO have evidence that disasters have natural causes), the likelihood of ANY ONE of these is so very low so as not to be considered plausible... of ALL of them coming to pass?
Lastly, the argument of "grand scale" plagues (and such) of myth (Bible) only show how limited their instigators (gods) are: They can move mountains, destroy worlds, but they can't avoid Bambi and Thumper who happen to be in the wrong place (collateral damage?)

you're honestly precise. Haiti does have a good Christian presence. and those who were killed that were Christians are literally with Jesus. -2 Corinthians 5:8 "we are positive, I say, and can want to favor to be far flung from the body and at homestead with the Lord."- Appx 116,000 Haitian Nazarenes on list and the state faith is Roman Catholicism (which 80-80 5% of the inhabitants professes.) 10-15% of Haitians practice Protestantism. that's a devastating occurrence that God allowed to take position. It would not replace who he's; He loves everybody and needs us all to entice close Him, by His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit lives interior us. And His promise to us is that once you die, you'd be with Him. John 14:16-7 -6 Jesus replied, “i'm the way and the fact and the existence. no human being contains the daddy except by me. in case you somewhat knew me, you would possibly want to understand my Father to boot. any further, you do understand Him and performance considered Him.” Earthquakes are a organic phenomenon yet also they are signals of the go back of Jesus Christ: -Mark 13 7-8 :once you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such issues ought to take position, however the end continues to be to come back. u . s . a . will upward push hostile to u . s . a ., and kingdom hostile to kingdom. there'll be earthquakes in countless places, and famines. those are the starting up of start pains.

No, I wouldn't. I would believe that you might believe it, but it strikes me as a rather far-fetched notion.

No, I would not believe you. There are far more likely reasons for both.
