She was just recently on methimazole about 3 weeks ago and yesterday she had Frontline Plus. Could either of those medicines have any effect on her balance or how she is walking?

When Frontline leaves her system, will she regain the full use of her limbs?

It's possible that she's had a stroke.
Also it's very possible that she's having a reaction to the medication...I use Frontline all the time, but I have a friend who's cat had a seziure after she used it on her cat.

Get the cat to the Vet ASAP.

Good luck, I hope kitty gets well soon.

One or both of the treatments are causing it. Stop using Fronline Plus. It is damaging to the central nervous system. Find an alternative method to control fleas. Then question why a thyroid medication is being given to your cat. Is it obesity? Why is she obese? Change her diet to a "species-appropriate diet" for the domesticated cat. Almost all thyroid cases in cats are caused by diets high in grains and almost all commercial cat foods contain grains as fillers. Use a search engine. If your vet balks at the disuse of Frontline and questions of her thyroid illness, drop him and get more opinions. This is not a normal or natural disease in cats regardless of the fact it has increased enormously. Red flags, here. Good luck.

im sure the frontline plus could be the reason...if she is an indoor cat and doesnt have fleas i would definately consider not using this on her anymore it may be too harsh for her and you need to take her to the vet it may just have been too much for her old little body...please call the vet!!!!
