God isn't human! God doesn't have a body, is not male/ female, does not wear clothes. God is pretty much beyond human comprehension, just as every creator is beyond the comprehension of the created.
But people found a need to explain to others that there exists a force which controls and evens out all actions, good or bad. For this, they gave form to God - claimed it was a he or a she, was fair or dark, etc.
That is why so many 'Gods' are needed. For, obviously, a white man wouldn't want to be told that God is black, with curly hair. Others wouldn't want to be told that God is fair-skinned. Others want their God to have a beard or have brown or blue eyes. Well, you have to please everyone!

Some people believe that there is only one God! Some people believe there are many Gods! Some do not believe in any God or many Gods! It is all a matter of faith! You either believe or you don't! I can not argue with those who believe in what they believe to be the 'One true God' because they have faith that he IS. I can not argue with those who believe in many Gods because, again, they believe 'They are'!
I believe there are many Gods! For a Christian to argue with me about what the Bible says does them very little good. Because, I believe that the Bible, although a very profound book, is just that, a book! This is my opinion, and my belief, and I do not wish to argue with anyone about this! I am only giving you my opinion!
'If no, why care for others?' Your words, your question!
This is a respect thing! I care for the Christian God because he is a God. Out of respect for my fellow humans there would be no reason for me to become angry or deny that he exists. They believe he does and that is all that matters!
Blessed Be

There is only one true God, the Lord God. God is three persons in one: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are on in that they always are in agreement and act as one. They are inseparable. All other gods are false, either figments of the human imagination, or they are demons. There is no reason to worship a false god as they can do nothing productive for a person. Worshiping such gods leads to damnation.

God is ONE. and is without form, has no beginning and no ending. but we are imperfect human beings and do have the need to cling on to one God of our faith and seek salvation. within a particular religion, you probably are referring to Hinduism --there are many deities. Vaishnavite school of thought says that Maha Vishnu is the Supreme being and all other Hindu Gods are also serving Him. there will be different schools of thought and philosophy. As long as there is a policy of 'each to one's own ' they really dont matter. why use the word s 'care for others' . Dont. worship all Gods if you dont want to.

no god but ALLAH.
Why you ask, well here is your answer:
If we were to take for an example that there was more than one god here is what will happen;
1_ The sistems will all colaps why, because with so many gods every one of them will have a there different ways of doing every thing.
2_Or each will go off with his Kigndom and power, than you know what will happen.
3_They will be is constent fites over rooling and we and everything else in this univers will be mesed up do to the fact that they are so sucked up in there fites they forgot that we eggzist.
4_last and finally they will all be under one rouller wich he does what ever he wants with them and then they will be no Gods any more and the Gods that you say egxist will be nomore gods any more if they are slaves for one of themselfs.
I hope you got to what i mean.
Peace to all.

Dear friend,
Let me make it as simple as possible. We are all clones of another planetary people as well and as we see here, lot of political organisations with different ideologies, the same is true for these all the religious people, including cult leaders, they are all getting help from their counter parts in another planet and so we have here lot of gods and godesses. Actually God in Heaven does not require these people for protecting His subjects, but unscrupulous are finding an easy way of life, by acting and unknowingly following the devilish designers and really causing trouble and confusion in the name of God.

Yes, God is ONE. He is the God of the Jews, and this same God is the God of the Christian. If you look into the original language in the Bible where it is written,"The Lord our God is one.." Deut. 6, you will see it's in the plural. PLURAL? Yep. Our God is a trinity.
All the other so called gods are made up by men.

No doubt there is only one God. But the perception of people differs. Onion is only one. But it is used in different forms for different purposes. Water is the same it is used for different purposes like washing, bathing, drinking etc. A human being is only one but eyes perform one function which ears will not. The functions of legs are not performed by the lips All our actions like reading, eating, seeing, marrying, producing children, etc form into one thing that is life. EKAM SAT, VIPRA BAHUDA VADANTI.

Supposedly we see ourselves as individuals, but at the atomic level atoms and other particles are connecting us in ways that we don't notice because our focus is on ourselves as individuals. What we experience is supposedly not the whole of all that is, only what we are able to deal with at the time. It is like a curtain or a veil at a play. We don't see what is behind the curtain.

If u believe in God you can survive with the impression that each person has his own GOD and hence there are several. If you are an Atheist you can ignore all instead of accepting only ONE.
