Why are so many people on here to worried about their weight when they are perfectly healthy sizes? The obsession with weight is just rediculous. We can never be perfect, either too fat or too thin or too round or too square. Just be healthy and if you are making every effort to make healthy choices then that is all you can do. The rest is the ability to screen out all this pressure to be so abnormal!!!

Normal people want to lose weight because they are bombarded with images of stick-thin people that show what society thinks beautiful is (through T.V., billboards, magazines, etc.) A person may also think they're fat when they're really not. I agree that nobody can be perfect, and I exercise for my health, not to lose weight.

Because to be fat it is not; healthy, nice, pretty, appealing, sexy, comfortable and easy. Fat people have a hard time doing the follow; digestion, finding cloths, dating, etc. no mention the "dirty look" fat people get when they sit down in the train sits, subway sits and so on.

I think many people are worried because they want to be happy with themselves. Many times it has nothing to do with the opinions of others but they want to be healthy and confident in themselves.

its an apperiance thing, and its a tv, magazine thing. people see super skinny people on tv. because the real person is normal sized, they think they are fat.
and i completely agree with you. people should accept who they are, not who tv tells them to be.
