Pantene works really good. Whatever you do, don't use Pert. It makes your hair feel thin and greasy. Or, try Herbal Essences. Both work great.

Hi, the best shampoos I have used are "Mane & Tail," and the entire KMS line. For conditioners, the all-time best is: the All-Nutrient Hair Proteinizer, which can be found at the Sukesha website. I have long, thick Asian hair, which I have been complimented on many, many times, but tends to be dry, so I have to be very careful to use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. The trick to great hair is to use the right conditioner and to leave it in for the exact right amount of time. A little practice will help you. The hair proteinizer I mentioned is a leave-in, spray formula. Every time I give it to friends they rave about it and I absolutely cannot keep enough around. It is the best hair product I have found in 15 years of trying everything out there, would highly recommend it :-P Mane & Tail is a recent discovery and is highly touted by many celebrities, such as Jennifer Aniston, etc. It is amazing and relatively inexpensive, compared to salon brands, and can be found in large chain stores and drug-stores nation-wide. I was very surprised it was so awesome, and in fact my boyfriend introduced me to it- he was introduced to it by his model roommate! :-D Good luck! Also, I have found that my hair stylist is the best person to ask for specific recommendations, since he knows both my hair and the best products available.

My hair is thick, wavy, dry and coarse - kinda pubic I suppose (would be if it was shorter)
The best conditioner for my hair is just olive oil. I rub it in my hands then massage through my dry hair until it has a good coating, then tie a plastic bag round my head (very attractive) for half an hour and then shampoo and rinse. It comes out lovely and glossy without causing that static electric effect I get after brushing, or the lankness I get with many other conditioners.
Shampoo - Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo for me. It smells gorgeous, doesn't dry your hair out and leaves it squeaky clean without itching your scalp.
I don't use mousses or sprays because it feels all horrible and stiff. I like to see and feel movement in hair.

My hair is very fine and straight.
I absolutely love any shampoo or conditioner by Paul Mitchell. They are 100% environmentally friendly and smell great. And, they do what they say they will do!
I have also had FANTASTIC results from, believe it or not, Suave's version of Amplify shampoo...it gives my hair incredible body and makes it super smooth. Best thing is I got it for $1!!!

kerastase!!! the best ever. i have curly/dry hair. and that is just the best stuff i have ever used in my life, and ive tried a lot. its a little expensive at 40 dollars for the conditioner and 35 for the shampoo but well worth it. if youre looking for cheap like drug store cheap, sunsilk is pretty decent, to make my kerastase last i use that every other day. i use the purple formula to get it straight.

My hair is natural curly, and very dry. I would have to say that SUNSILK for split ends is the best I have ever used.
