I have in fact proposed to my boyfriend on the 29th of February (some year, I forget). The 29th of Feb is traditionally the time where women can propose to their men (although I don't think you should wait for a leap year to propose if you want). However, be warned that if you do propose, be prepared to have the guy laugh at you and say "Not this year, babe."

Probably would have the guts...I didn't propose to my 2nd husband but getting married was my idea (I don't think there ever was a formal proposal) as he wanted us to buy a house together...
This is one of those situations where while traditionally the guy does it, there's no reason the woman can't or shouldn't if she feels strongly about it...

when u say the word BOY FRIEND it means that he is firstly ur friend and then anything else, when u hav any relation it usually means that u r commited to eachother for a permanent relation wich is MARRIAGE, u should obviously hav the GUTS to tell him to marry u coz any relation is incomplete without MARRIAGE, if u dont hav theguts it means u 2 r not good friends, wen there is no friendship i wouldsuggest u to be friends first then think about arelationship and marriage or u will suffer in future

i know i would like my bf and i to maybe get married, but i know if i asked him to he would say yes because he would be so happy and also he would not want to tell me no to such a deep and emotional question and upset me. so i know when i am ready and when he is ready and can see i am ready he will ask. he's good like that. well first we gotta move in together. that's the issue on our minds right now.
