I fall in love with a girl. I have told her my feeling yet she said she just want to be friends. Actually, she is a girl who really likes to laugh and joke, sometimes can be realy childish around her friends and she is not a very serious person. However, I still love her and in my eyes, she is the only one I want to spend my life with and she is the most special! Despite all her shortcomings! Does love work that way and is it true love?

I am 14, so is she

I don't know if it is true love but it is love. Love works in many weird ways. But you can't wait around for this girl to change. You might want to wait a few more weeks then ask her out again. Then just move on. She was the one stupid enough to pass a chnce like that up!

Good Luck!

thas just one of the ways love works. it appears strange when it switches on, and when it switches off.

i'd say just enjoy her company, do what you can to make her enjoy yours, and see if it can become two way instead of one. In the meantime, just retain an open mind. Maybe your true love is yet to say hi to you !

remember - theres nothing sure in love ever ! thats y it is interesting :)

You can decide if it's true love or not. You could be in strong infatuation with her. You won't know, really.

I won't say you can't know at 14. I'll say it's unusual and unlikely but not impossible.

it may be love on your end, but it can't GROW without her input!

growing it is the best part, and that takes a very long time. don't stress out, just enjoy it as it comes, and be grateful when you find nice girls who share your feelings.

Just because you fall in love with someone else doesn't mean they fall in love with you. Seems you've just gotten your first painful lesson in this. My condolences.
