Please dont just give the obvious answers as this is a more hypothetical problem, where shutting the doors or calling the cops wont work. Thanks a lot for your help!

All you have to do is get an alarm and lock your front door for good and go through a back door and if that does not work than just get a video camera and tape the person getting in the house and than just call the call the police or just go to the police station and show them the tape and if you no the person than just tell the the name of that person and if the person kn owes that you told than just get a hotel far away from your home and ask for security watch.

Change the locks. I don't know why calling the cops won't work, this is called breaking and entering, and that is true even if its your landlord. If its legal to have a gun in your city, get one. A guard dog might help as well. Remember, if you shoot them, make sure they've actually come into the house. If they're outside you could be charged.

My first response would be to locking your doors, if someone has the keys and they shouldn't have them, ie the people who you don't want entering, then you need to change the locks.

While a restraining order doesn't always work, it may be of assistance.

If this is a serious question and there is a life safety issue and the above two suggestions won't work, then you need to move...

Depending on the laws of your state, you may use deadly force to stop individuals from entering your home. In my home state you need only ask a person once to leave your home before you may shoot them. They must be inside the threshold to your home. If you live in an apartment this may not be an option. In Alaska you may use a gun to protect yourself from assailants anywhere you encounter them and there is not license needed to carry a concealed weapon. Of course, if you are bigger or stronger or whatever you may physically remove the intruder from your home.

How are people entering your house? Lock the doors. Do these people have keys? Change the locks.
