Hi, I'm Irish. I am from the Republic of Ireland. Ireland is a grand place to live, the only thing is, things can be quite expensive. After that it's great. Weather is not the greatest at times but we make the most of what we have. I would not compare Ireland to any other country as people have different opinions and the only way to get your opinion is to visit Ireland. The big cities are fine but these don't make up the bulk of Ireland. To me it is home, a great place and way of life. We work to live here, not live to work.. The way of living is easy going. For any info like accomodation and places of interest to visit, the site http://www.ireland.ie is a good site. Northern Ireland is beautiful. the country side and its' people are great. The West is spectacular, the mountains and views are out of this world, even when it rains. The South is just as great, In Co. Clare, a place called the Burren is there. It is a unique place, it looks like alot of limestone and flora and fauna is unique also.
The Aran Islands are a nice spot also, you would need a fine day to see everything properly, and hiring a bike out is no problem.
West Cork and Co. Kerry are fantastic places also. Lovely spots to see. There are alot of tourist places there, and summer time can be busy but the days are longer and the weather can be better. The East is great also, the scenery is beautiful. The web site above would tell you alot more than I, but to experience this place for yourself is one you will remember and have good craic. I think the ferry comes from Rosslare to Le Harve. it takes about 22 hours, I think. It is a great place to visit.. I'm biased..
I was not in France "Yet" that is, but would like to visit the country side there. Pictures looks great and peaceful. Sounds a great place also. Enjoy

depending on what part of Ireland you want to visit, the capital Dublin has loads to see and do, like Trinity College, Grafton St, Christchurch, Guiness hopstore and loads more. The west of Ireland is beautiful, beautiful scenery and very vibrant cities like Galway. There is loads to do all over Ireland and every part has there own little thing to offer a tourist.

Hello, I am from Northern Ireland and it is a beautifully country. Lots of interesting sights like the Giants cause way. People are very friendly and will go out of their way to show you and take you out to different places.

You should definitely try Dublin, Kerry, Waterford, Galway, they all have the most breath-taking scenery in the world apart from France. If you like Irish food, music and culture then Ireland is he best place in the world.

If in Dublin pay a visit to the Guinness factory were you will get a free pint of the famous black stuff, you will also get to pour your-self a pint..

If you like photographs of Ireland then I can recommend a good website it s www.Irelands-secnic-views.com

Well like any irish man that I know you're gonna wanna start off at a pub now you might be questioning why there? Well yes the scenery is amazing and the people are friendly and sarcastic but you have to understand, to really feel the lifestyle is to get in the pub talk to the locals and see life through their eyes along with erring polluted on the black shtuff
