Hatred comes from so many places. For many people here it is ignorance and fear. For others it is a learned behavior, either from friends or family.

Hate is a terrible thing and will destroy a person if they are not careful. I lived with it for many years and found inner peace and happiness when I learned to let the anger go...

Because hating makes some people feel powerful and superior to others. They objectify and dehumanize for their own gain. It gives some people the feeling that they can do whatever they want in the name of their own brand of hate.

Because hate makes it easier not to face people,whose out look on life may be different. Hate puts people in jail,so they won't think outside of the box. They need to realize how strong the evil one is and defeat him.

because usually when we hate someone, we are very angry and can't think properly. so we forget that hate tears us apart.

Because you have not learned to forgive and believe me I thought I had a God given right to hate,but through my mom dying God revealed to me that hating my brother was wrong because it wasn't my business, it was Gods business,it was between him and God.Oh I can tell you I don't want to meddle in Gods business unless he wants me in it.This helped me to forgive and I pray it will you to.

It goes back to our fight or flight instinct. It actually has its place in human nature, but is obviously antisocial when it is aimed indiscrimminately and violently.
