Can you imagine the global consequences. Law's would need re-writing, religion would be meaningless, scientific community would need to rethink previously established theories.
No wonder the truth is suppressed!

My apologies for not making the question more clear.
I was asking the question from a Spiritual view point - ie when we physically die, do we retain an awareness of ourselves, soul etc..

The purpose of asking the question is to attempt to get people to think for themselves.
True - I know that we survive phyisical death - but it wasn't something that sat comfortably with me .. but through process of critical, analytical and logic thinking and observing the evidence - it is not possible to rationally deny.
And I'm not some uneducated nut - I'm a lead engineer for a large avionics system company, designing products for both military and civil aircraft. So I know how to think for myself!

That wouild only be so if we were to survuive death in our present form. That the human spirit survives death requires no such amendment

Well, being a ''lead engineer for a large avionics systems company'' you should maybe consider using your ''process of critical, analytical and logic thinking and observing the evidence'' to ask an intelligible question.

I think it sounds like the person you are trying to convince is yourself. Your questions about spiritualism, death and afterlife tend to show where your views lie, but you sound like you are having problems believing in what you are being fed.
What truth is supressed ? The weak will believe whatever the powers that be or clever snake-oil salesmen tell them, I think you should concentrate more on life and you could be happy.
What if we do survive death ? What if we don't live now ? What if we are part of some computer generated game ? What if Santa really did exist - could you imagine how he feels now ?

If we survived death, then no law would need to be rewritten. In fact, we know from Einstein that all things are relative to our unique perspective, and that if we travel past the speed of light, time does not exist.
The lack of time would suggest that there is a realm that is not finite. Sound familiar ? Eternity with perhaps a new Light that is infinite and where energy has a different form. Nothing is lost.

What gibberish is this?
Truth is suppressed? are you serious? We have that 'truth' (lol) forced down our throats at every opportunity - let me ask you something, since everything we've learned about the brain explains consciousness and emotion in terms of physical patterns in your brain what do you think the soul actually is? It used to be what made us think and feel but we know thats not so, just as evolution showed creationism is wrong, so neurobiology shows us that we are physical beings.
We don't survive death - that would be a bit of a contradiction in terms, wouldnt it?

Does the wave live to inform the tale attaining the shore? As a manifestation of the move of the single, the ego isn't everlasting. some circumstances the ego would not live to inform the tale existence. it is the most puzzling element of its own existence the ego ought to face, the potential of it truly is own death. i trust that the ego would live to inform the tale death in a lot of circumstances. at last, notwithstanding, the ego ought to bypass. the coolest information is we are no longer the ego, we only get perplexed and picture that we are. The ego is a set of recommendations about self certain up with emotional attachment and favor to be more suitable. noticeably insignificant compared to the existence that we are.

Yes life here on planet numpty would definatley need a radical re-think, I hope we do have to answer to our lives here on earth and that relevant rewards or punishments will be dealt at the pearly gates...if we do become worm food and nothing else then we dont need to worry, carry on being mean to eachother, bombing the crap out of the world, dont know what I believe really.

Its all amatter of which universal law your bending. If we could ressurect (bring back to Life) the recently deceased, then everything should stay pretty much the same. When you've gone on you've gone on. If your still here your legaly and spiritually alive!!!!

Name one person that has "survived death" - you can't because there aren't any, and probably never will be. The words are contradictions in terms. If you "survive" you are alive. If you are dead, you have not survived. This has no relevance whatsoever to the truth being suppressed. Death is permanent - no one survives it.
