Take it as a personal challenge. If you walk in with a smile on your face and upbeat head and heart, the rest of you will follow. What may be boring on the surface may turn out to be the greatest night of your life. Challenge yourself to socialize with everyone and you might just be surprised who else is bored there too.

If you don't know a single person, that opens a lot of doors to opportunities. I'm assuming you are a single person?? I would do one of two things, I would take a friend with you. If anything, you can talk to that friend. The other thing is, I would walk around the room at the reception and meet new people. You never know what might come out of it! Good luck!

Who gets marred on a Monday ?
Must be at the court house right.
Unless you are part of the wedding party,
then I don't know why you would be forced
to attend.

Why is it going to be boring?? No booze.... bring your own in your pocket. Just go and talk and enjoy yourself. Maybe have a few drinks before you get there!!

i'm a fraid you'll will just have to sit trough it, but your suffering will be payed of when you get food.
