it was structured to lead human in the right path otherwise we all would have still been uncivilized.
But people stand apart in the name of religion. Religion has lost the route for its ultimate destination. I feel like going back to stone age again, fighting and killing people for personal needs

Religion is Man / Woman made. When a child is born it comes into the world without knowing about GOD or religion.During the formative years certain beliefs are inculcated in the child.this is religion.Since these are created by the parents of the Individual and due to other practices followed by the people in general it can be said that all RELIGION is man made.

God will is one flock and one sheperd. Jesus has instituted a religion which is the justice toward God.
1 Cor. 3:11 - Jesus is called the only foundation of the Church, and yet in Eph. 2:20, the apostles are called the foundation of the Church. Similarly, in 1 Peter 2:25, Jesus is called the Shepherd of the flock, but in Acts 20:28, the apostles are called the shepherds of the flock. These verses show that there are multiple metaphors for the Church, and that words used by the inspired writers of Scripture can have various meanings. Catholics agree that God is the rock of the Church, but this does not mean He cannot confer this distinction upon Peter as well, to facilitate the unity He desires for the Church.
Matt. 16:18 - Jesus said in Aramaic, you are "Kepha" and on this "Kepha" I will build my Church. In Aramaic, "kepha" means a massive stone, and "evna" means little pebble. Some non-Catholics argue that, because the Greek word for rock is "petra", that "Petros" actually means "a small rock", and therefore Jesus was attempting to diminish Peter right after blessing him by calling him a small rock. Not only is this nonsensical in the context of Jesus' blessing of Peter, Jesus was speaking Aramaic and used "Kepha," not "evna." Using Petros to translate Kepha was done simply to reflect the masculine noun of Peter.
All the divisions come from the influence of another spirit which men follow.

specific, it variety of feels all religions are guy-made and all gods are an attempt by guy (or lady) to describe that which exists. maximum religions have common techniques on the subject count number of tribal or societal ideals and those might properly be very sturdy... yet those techniques do not originate from faith. an fairly sturdy occasion is the "Do unto others" concept that seems to be common throughout the time of a huge variety of important and minor religions. If human beings might desire to wrap their heads around those wider societal techniques while not having tangled in each and all of the small tribal questioning, the international may be a much extra advantageous place.

Religion made for man - to do what to man though? That's the question, certainly not for his betterment - as for the 2nd part of your question -
NO - why the hell do we need to be spiritual? We need to have wonder but it should be at science, the universe - things that are real - the christians on these forums are mostly fruitcakes but the pagans are even worse - spirituality, wicca - all embracing rubbish - as if christianity and atheism can be embraced simultaneously!
WE NEED TO BE OPEN MINDED - BUT NOT SO OPEN MINDED OUR BRAINS FALL OUT!

>>>Religion these days is dividing people.>>>
Don't believe everything that the secularists and the liberal media tell you.
As for your question: Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man, and not the other way around.
Presumably, this was because the Sabbath is meant to help people be closer to God.
So I think this logic would extend to religion in general. It's meant to help people grow closer to God, so that means that religion is made for us.
It's a great gift to us, in fact.

Actually religion is made by Purina. Originally it was meant as a canine dietary supliment but people started getting hooked on it. It turned out to be quite addictive to a certain sector of society. Perhaps it should be categorized as a schedule 1 controlled substance.

What do you mean, "these days"?
That is what religion has done from day one!
Even the cavemen probably went to war because of an argument over who's pile of sticks and mud better represented "god".
It is a blight on humanity and needs to be tossed on the ash-heap of history once and for all.
