I just want to do something to acknowledge that he is special to me. Not even necessarily buy something. I know a month is not that long.

how old is he?
You know this guy so what is he into? Whatever his interests are get something related to an interest of his that is around $20/$30 as a gesture, don't go splash out too much or you might come across as a bit too engrossed in a short relationship.

Well, if it's for marriage, there are a few things you could give him that he wouldn't mind a bit! Know-whut-I-mean? Know-whut-I-mean?
If you're dating, then I wouldn't suggest you get him anything. I don't think it's wise to celebrate monthly "anniversaries." Mainly because you look like you're trying to cling on to him. You both look a little desperate or cheesy. When you hit year or half year marks, those are ok. Do a little dance and celebrate! You deserve it by then. At a month? Most people can stay together for a month and you end up breaking up after that. I'm not saying you will; I'm just saying it's possible.

Sorry you got so many ignorant answers. Geez, some people! My suggestion would be to ask him over and cook a nice dinner for him, that way he wont be embarresed for not getting you anything (i'm assuming he wont because most guys arent that sensitive, but hey, maybe he will). Have fun and I'm glad you found someone you care about.

How about a candle ligh dinner? Its very special. And on that occasion u can gift him a branded watch. It will make the dinner more special.

perfume. a picture frame/paperweight/pen all the standard gifts coz its just a month. but if you are the generous type then why not clothes? or a watch etc?
