Can anyone tell me what the bus services are like in North Devon? We're hoping to go there in a few months and want to visit a few places whilst there.

Go to www.traveline.org.uk and look up a few sample journeys on the journey planner. You should be able to download timetables when you have found out route numbers. A fair percentage of services are operated by First Bus. A search will quickly reveal their website - with timetables on it. Devon County Council publish excellent comprehensive timetable books. If you can find their phone number (there must be a website) you can ask for them to be posted to you. In general services are pretty good between towns, but you will find them a bit thin on the ground in very rural areas off the main roads.

In the height of the season excellent,at this time of the year not the best.
