When I was a kid I remember some guy found a baby Crow in a nest that the mother must of gotten killed. He brought it home & raised it in a big cage & that Crow was so smart & talked better than any parrot I have ever seen.
They are very smart.

Crows and ravens are very smart animals, if you get one young you can raise it as a very nice pet. They won't fly off anymore either when raised well, so you don't need to keep them in a small cage like most birds. But remember to give him that room; a crow in a cage is not happy :( Also remember they can get pretty old, you're taking on quite a commitment. If you're willing to put the time in it and give it a good lot of room to live, it's a wonderful bird to have!

Are you crazy, you ever hear how annoyingly loud a crow is? I'd rethink this.

They are black and poop just like any other bird? and make loud noise.

He will certainly live longer that his owner, if is not killed by your cat!
