HIYA I HAVE LOST JUST OVER HALF A STONE IN ABOUT 3 WEEKS AND I AM REALLY HAPPY I AM WANTING TO LOOSE MORE THOUGH - I HAVE BEEN EATING BIRDSEYE STEAMED VEG WITH RICE FOR MY DINNER AND AT A NIGHT TIME I HAVE BEEN HAVING A SMALL TIN OF TUNA WITH A LITTLE SALAD CREAM WITH CUCUMBER AND TOMATOE IN A BOWL - I AM ENJOYING THIS ASWELLL AND I AM TRYING TO EXERCISE AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE - DO YOU THINK I WILL KEEP LOOSING WEIGHT AND MY EATING IS OK ??? THANXS XXX

congratulations, its tough losing weight, from my personal experience i would advice eating sensibly this includes carbs and meat and exercise 3-4 times a week, ive lost 2st in a year doing this and the weight has stayed off. I swim for 1/2 an hr 4 x a week and eat a good variety of food and even have a treat now and again. i find that women who lose a great amount of weight on these fad diets will gain it back. Ask yourself this, are you willing to live off those types of food for the rest of your life? if the answer is no then do what i have done and make a life style change. You will still be able to dine out and have take aways just be sensible with them. Good luck hun and Happy new year xx

I am also a size 12 and trying to lost 20 lbs.

OK, so when you do lose all the weight that you want, what are you going to eat? Are you going to continue to eat this way? You are not eating enough right now, and when you decide to eat "normally" again it will come back on.

I am eating my 3 "normal" meals a day but simply watching my portions and fat intake. No greasy crap, takeout, white bread, etc. In between, I am actually SNACKING on healthy stuff...fruit, nuts, veggies...and yes an occasional piece of chocolate! I have lost 3 lbs since last week. I am NOT hungry, and I feel fantastic. I also just had major surgery and am laid up for another 3 weeks, but as soon as I can exercise I will begin by walking EVERY day for at least 20-30 mins. Cheapest, best exercise in the world to help you begin burning off weight. All you need are the shoes!

It sounds like a good start. But you do need to add more variety of foods.I guarantee that you will get very bored of eating the same thing day after day. You need other nutrients other than the ones that you are getting from the tuna and vegetables. Consider taking a multi vitamin as well.

You probbly would, but how much weigth do you want to loose, I mean you don't have to be like a pen to be beautiful, I know you can consider this a "cliche" but all that matters is how beautiful you are inside, and you'll find that out once you've been a week with someone with a beautiful body and an empty head.

you may think you need to lose weight but to lose half a stone in 3 weeks and you're only a size 12 is quite a lot. Its much better to lose it slowly and gradually (it'll stay off that way).
also bear in mind the kind of excercise you are doing, and what time of night you eat your dinner. if you're going to skip a meal it's better to skip dinner than breakfast...(although neither are advised)

You are on the right track.Make sure you eat three meals a day but you need to eat a more balanced diet with some more variety, dont go losing to much all at once,

It doesn't sound like very much. ..
You would benefit by varying your diet to include afew nuts say 5 per day.
Try low fat calorie yogurt for your calcium and a small piece of cheese with ryvita or some wheat biscuit.
Fresh juice diluted with water.
For your protein have some lean ham or chicken.
Salads are good-and you could include a hard boiled egg with this.

If you starving yourself then you will be tired and irritable!

go on the web & type in cabbage soup diet, this will come up with the soup recipe & the full diet sheet, which allows you to have meat chicken jacket pots & other foods...try it, my other half did & he was never hungry & he lost 2 stone in 3 weeks & he never put it back on. Also although you may be put off at the sound of cabbage soup Don't be it has lots of other ingredients in it & it DON'T make you fart like a lot of people would think...trust me on this one.

if you loose weight too fast then you end up loosing muscle which is not good. best thing eat different foods coz they have different nutrients compositions which you need but in moderation and the weight will drop off slowly, its healthier this way. also reduce your portions.
