umm, unless you are married, YOU won't be going with him at all. The military will not pay for the move. also.. with three kids and you not being married, unless you have sole custody, he is considered a single parent and cannot enlist in the Active Army.
Because of this, he won't qualify for on base housing, although he may get BAH.

I don't know who told you that you didn't have to be married just because you have three children together. In order to be able to move with him and be able to go on to the military installation and live in base housing, you will definately need to be married. If not the only ones who can go with him are the children. They will be his dependents. Get married, if you want to be, too. They will send him where ever they need him.

Nobody will know where he will be posted, and he will only know about a week before he is posted. When I served in the Army, we had postings all over the world. Hong Kong, Germany , Malaya, singapore, Gibraltar, and even Paris. (S.H.A.P.E Headquarters) Now it seems all they have is the Falklands, Or Iraq.

N.I but you won't be going with him alternatively if it is a European posting you could live somewhere in Germany or Italy.Maybe the island of Cyprus. In the 70,s they sent the families home after terrorists hit the married quarters.the families were airlifted to safety.

First of all you can not go with him unless you are married. Then after training he will find out which regiment he is in. He might stay in UK or Germany. There are also many places that he may be posted to.

It could be anywhere, depending on the Regiment. It could be in the UK, Germany, Cyprus etc.
I'm in the RAF and I've only been posted to UK postings, but the Army still have Germany postings. I know there are army camps in Cyprus too.
Good luck to you and your b/f. Tell him to keep his nose clean in training and he'll do fine. (remember, the instructors know EVERY trick!)

He goes where he is sent - simple as that. It`s a big wide world out there :-). He won`t be able to pick and choose.
Where his regiment goes, he goes :-)
