that depends on you hunny! can you forgive and forget? it was while you where split, and no doubt he had been with people before you got together and you didnt let that bother you as it was while you wer not together so put it out your mind and go for it but make it clear this isnt a situation you will be put in again next time he trys another bit of skirt you will not take him back as you wont be messed about. good luck with this one hunny i hope it all works out for you xx

Yes it can, providing you want it to. It happened to me and my husband about 4 years ago. Due to loads of reasons we had to move house from Slough to Plymouth, though he still lived and worked in Slough for a year. The thought of moving permanently to Plymouth scared him so much he left me and started a relation ship with another woman. It lasted 6 weeks before he realised he had made a big mistake and begged me to take him back. I did because I love him so much. It's not easy because it will play on your mind for a long time, but you need to ignore it as much as you can if you want it to work. I didn't want to lose him so I didn't go on about it I just learnt how to deal with it. 4 years later we are now as strong as we were before it all happened and have a 10 month old son.
Do what feels right in your heart, good luck to you.

"scared of being on his own"
Sounds like hes not fit ewnough to be dated in the first place
Id want someone who wanted to be with me because of ME, not because of himself (fears, ego, whatever other reasons)
He doesnt seem to really care much about you for the above resaon and also, its evidenced in the fac that he would date you and see someone else-- if he cared, he would let you go first and then see someone else, or, he would independently try to work it out between the two of ou.
When a guy loves you, he really does, and he gives his life for you- just to make YOU happy--- not at all just to use you as his own security blanket! :/

Depends whether the problems you had have been resolved. If not the don't consider taing him back because you will follow the same path as last time.
If the problems from last time have been resolved its worth a try.

Scared of being on his own? He sounds needy. You don't need that. Run for the hills.

Only you can really answer that question. If he really loves you he will want to make it work.
Why not give it a try and find out.
