I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta with a warning light on I've never seen before. I'd like to know if there is a website that has specific information about these lights. Ideally, I'd like to find something that has a picture and description of what each warning light means. I do not have the owners manual. In case anyone knows, this light is a solid green circle with green dashes in a half circle on either side of the solid circle.

Correction. The lights are yellow, not green.

That light is a front brake warning light. There are sensors in the brake pads which activate that light if they detect weaking brake activity in the front. You should go and have that checked out.

Sounds like it could be a short in one of the wires behind your gauge cluster.
