My theme is candy and sweets! My colors are champagne and blush (pink wine color). I want a table of all sweets and candy ( we already have a chocolate fountain) that are around the same color scheme as my colors. I want to put all the candy's in big glass bowls and vases and be like a big classy sweet factory. The only candy I found so far is ivory jordan almonds and blush rock candy sticks. Any candy suggestions that match this theme?

With Valentine's Day coming you should see many candies in various colors of pink. I'd add all shades of pink to give contrast to the champagne and pale blush colors. If near a big city visit a large candy store or look on line. Check back Sandra Lee shows on the foodnetwork. I recall she did a show where she featured candies and sweets.

You could make up candy kabobs and alternate these stick suckers stuck into syrofoam pieces.

Are you aware that you can make your own creamy mints using a recipe for cream cheese mints that is easily found on line with a word search. You can color these any color and shade that you want. Platters of these would be lovely. You can also make your own suckers and semi-clear candies to whatever shade you like.

Sounds like a fun wedding reception....congratulations on your upcoming marriage.

You know what I always find nice at candy and sweet themed parties? Tall vases filled with single color M&Ms (i.e. sorted). But something that could help you is candy floss! They puff up the table like a flower. You could also make "floral arrangements" out of sugar candy (essentially just a sugar mixture that is heated and then put on a baking sheet to solidify... you can make intersting shapes out of it) that you make in different colours (food coloring) that compliment your colour scheme. Although chocolate is your dessert, you can also have centre pieces made of chocolate made - I suggest making large champagne bottles made of chocolate (most chocolatiers make these already), and have your names put on them - that way they can even be a door prize.

Love your theme btw - very daring. I'm curious to know what the dinner menu is like... will you be supplying guests with a shot of insulin just in case too? =)

How about Jelly Belly? There are so many choices that there has to be one that matches your color scheme. Cotton Candy or bubble gum? m&m's also have a variety of colors that you can choose from - other than what is in the bag. Go to their web site and check it out.

Go to groovy candies on line and you can search by color.

Check out the valentine candies in the stores now. You can probably find some nice heart shaped candies in shades of pink.

You can also buy candy molds and make any color that you want.

Man candy is so not my thing but in the spirit of helping you... I went to a wedding and the bride and groom had M&M type candies with their initials and the date on them.. that was
B.R.
&
R.R.
1/01/07 for example.
For their parents they had little matching keepsake boxes made up. I thought it was awfully "sweet".

You can check this cool website I found. They specialize in themed weddings and parties. They even offer themed personalized favor ribbons. If you do not find what you are looking for, try emailing them. A lot of times they will be able to custom design items for you. They did for mine!

For a champagne colour, try Ferrero Rocher. They are tasty, classy chocolates, that will match the coulour very well. They are also not too expensive.
