gosh i hate how people are answering these kind of questions really rudely. *ahem* ok all i can think of is to say something catchy but my brother (who happens to be a meat-eater but also very open minded.) thought of something. he says make it sound like a wrestling match between the meatball and the tofu ball. make the meatball sound all lame and stuff. and the tofu ball sound really strong and powerful. if you want, make it like a whole mini story and make the tofu win. i know its kinda odd but its catchy and imaginative. ok hope this helps

Shannon

PS my brother is rooting for the meatball
and I'm rooting for the tofu! (I'm a vegetarian)

muahaha i won.

In the United States, there is a group of people that make up over 6 percent of the population. They are recognised nationally, sometimes happily and sometimes not. These people boycott a system that they find major faults in- daily. These people are called vegetarians. They all unite in one cause, but for many reasons. Some want to have healthier bodies. Some want the planet to be in a better condition. Some want animals to be treated with more respect. Whatever the reason, these people all have such an inner incentive that they give up eating products derived from animals. Why don't we explore why this is such a wonderful type of person this is to be?

Well... first off, I wold make the story "Why I Became Vegetarian." You already have all the information in your head. You have an abundance of sources from sites people here gave you.

AND, people are more interested in/ persuaded by personal stories than by stories telling them why they should change themselves. If they have any inclinations towards vegetarianism, the "Why I did it" article will be more helpful to them then the "why you should do it" article.

Or you can write an article about 3 different vegetarians who made this decision for different reasons and let them explain why.

:)

If you want a really hard core, touching article to read on why to become a vegetarian, I would suggest www.peta.com.

Perhaps something along the lines of there being no really viable mineral/vitamin content left in meat after it's cooked at the average temperature anyways.....................RAW IS BEST!! Obviously not raw meat though, that would be way disgusting, unhealthy and grosse anyway, I mean raw foods from God's table...............Hey!! There you go, I think a light just came on in my head lololol.......RELISH GOD'S BANQUET OF VITALITY AND NUTRITION - RAW. COOKING ANY FOOD ABOVE 118 F WILL COMPLETELY DEVASTATE IT'S ENZYME CONTENT...............:)

Here is the introduction.

I am a vegetarian, not because I love animals, but because I hate plants.

I would think you should start by explaining how the Mongolian people are so fabulously healthy even though they eat no vegetables - most meat and some rice.
Then explain the benefits of vegetarian.

"it's only right that people who do not understand the natural functions of the human body to also reject its natural diet."
or
"the animals of this world are here to serve a purpose. it is only right that people do not only reject their purpose, but to also write an essay to tell people about how ignorant i am about the world with my belief"
and lastly
"you should become a vegetarian because you're gay."
